• M.Tech in Power Systems from NIT Warangal , in 2016.
• B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics from GPREC, Kurnool Affiliated to SKU Anantapur, in 2013.
• Secured All India 938 rank in GATE 2014.

Research Interests: : Smart Grids, Wide Area Monitoring Protection and Control(WAMPAC), Power System Protection ,Real Time Simulation in Power Systems, etc.

Research Papers published:

• C Purushotham Reddy, DR. DVSS Siva Sarma, Varaprasad Oruganti, presented an IEEE Conference paper at INDICON 2016, IISc Bengaluru on the paper entitled"A novel fault classifier and locator using one-end current spectrum and minimal synchronized symmetrical components for transmission lines".
• Research case study was done in NARL(National Atmospheric Research Laboratory, Tirupati(Dept. of ISRO)) for a period of 4 months from Dec-12 to April-13 on the topic of, "Energy Conservation & Analysis on a Photo-voltaic Solar Plant".

• Presented a paper on "Recent Trends in Power Systems, FACTS" at PRAGNYA 2012 at JNTU Hyderabad.
• Participated in JIGNASA 2011, organized by ISTE Students Chapter held in GPREC Kurnool.
• Participated in AMCAT held at GPREC Kurnool.
